Holy cow! I actually have a picture up for this post! YES! I finally found my camera and cord and had some free time to finally participate again!

Today my lovely guest blogger is Patricia from Beauty Informer! We are rocking some 80’s looks for you guys today! Let’s get started with Patricia’s look.

I kept true to the vibrancy of the 80’s and used my 88 color palette from Coastal Scents to achieve the look. I used a blue for my lids and pink in the crease area. I then used an orange shade above the pink and highlighted my brow area with yellow. I used a bit of the blue, orange and yellow  under my eyes too. The colors unfortunately, have been washed out by my camera.
For my face, I used some primer, a foundation, and some blush and contour powder. I followed this up with a light coat of mascara and pink lipstick and liner. Notice my side ponytail with the blue band to match the eye shadow 😉
Ally says, “I love Patricia’s look! I love that it is still completely wearable!
Thank you Ally xo

For her look, Ally says, “I was definitely excited to do an 80’s look because, well, I love bright colors! I really went for a bright obnoxious look. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea and may not be “wearable” for everyone lol. I consider it wearable, and I actually do normally wear my eye looks like this. My mom always says I should have been born in the 80’s!
I used an e.l.f. brightening eye quad in Punk Funk and a Rimmel London ScandalEYES eyeshadow pencil in witness white to achieve this look. I took the scandalEYES eyeshadow pencil and applied it all over my lid and lined my lower lash line with it. I applied the pink shadow from the quad all over the lids and the purple in the crease. I lined my lower lash line with the blue shadow in the quad. It is a very quick and easy look!

Ally adds, “Hope everyone enjoyed this beauty through the decades post!”
Next week she’ll be rocking the 90’s with another guest blogger! So, please stop by All Things Ally and check her out. I hope you like her and her blog as much as I do.
Thanks for having me be a part of the ‘Beauty through the decades’ series Ally. I had so much fun working on this, with you.

My Liebster Award

30 Aug

Hello my lovelies. I am sorry I have fallen back on my posts for the last month, but I have had a lot happening during the last few weeks that hasn’t given me time for myself. I am now back to regular routine and I am delighted because the lovely Michele from Trendy Belle Blog nominated me for the Liebster award! Thanks Michele ❤

The Liebster award is for blogs with 200 or less followers, to let them know all of their hard work is appreciated! Isn’t that both motivating and touching? I love the blogging community and I am so glad to know everybody I have met via my blog. Thank you all for being so supportive.

Now, onto the rules of this award:

  • Each nominee must link back the person who nominated them.
  •  Answer the 10 questions which are given to you by the nominator.
  •  Nominate 10 other bloggers for this award who have less than 200 followers.
  •  Create 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
  • Let the nominees know that they have been nominated by going to their blog and notifying them

Here are the responses to the questions that Michele asked me:

One: If you had to describe your style in one word, what word would you choose and why?

Classic. I love formal wear, my LBDs, red lipstick and winged liner.

Two: If you could trade places with any person in the world for just one day, who would it be?

I wouldn’t want to trade places with anyone even for a day. I would never want to miss out on a day of my reality 🙂

Three: What is your dream job?

Owning my own natural beauty and skin care line. I hope this dream becomes a reality one day.

Four: Who was your first celebrity crush?

George Clooney I still have a crush on him 😉

Five: If you got to plan your dream vacation, where would you go?

Ahm.. so many places but I would start with Italy, Rome and Greece.

Six: What is your favorite trend right now?

The heavy smoky cat eye.

Seven: What is your favorite song at the moment?

Hunter Hayes’ I Want Crazy

Eight: What is your go to beauty item that you couldn’t live without?

Nine: What is something you’d like to do before you die?

Get married and have a complete little family of my own.

Ten: If you could travel back in time and live in any decade, which would you choose?

I think I would choose the 1940s to 1960s because I love the fashion from those decades.
